The "Duplex" is an additional centring unit that produces gives the eye an extra point of reference that provides a clearer indication of an alignment error. The logical extension to the Duplex is the Duplex-Vario.

The Centra Duplex 1994005 Vario extends the functionality of the very popular Duplex product by having an inbuilt, adjustable, centring ring. This unit adds this ring into the sight picture, providing feedback to the shooter as to how centrally they are looking through the rear sight. This additional cut will lead to a more consistent head position. Adjustments are provided to centre the ring in the rear sight aperture. Colour filter lenses or the Duplex Iris can be attached as well. It is compatible with the Centra 'Spy' rearsight, and in combination with the Lens Hood II product, it can be fitted to many other rear sights, including the MEC Free Sight, the Centra 10-50 Rear sight, Feinwerkbau, Hammerli and most Anschutz rear sights.
